How Aggrenox works

Due to the insufficient supply of the oxygen into the blood, then the thrombs are formed which block the blood vessels. This condition can cause ischemic attack. Aggrenox works by preventing forming the thrombs in blood. This medicine helps also to reduce the pain, fever and inflammation.

Aggrenox can cause a number of seriouseadverse effects: fainting or lack of physical strength, weakness, bloody stool, nausea, stomach pain, fever, and hearing disorders.

Among the common adverse effects are: stomach ache, diarrhea, joint pain, sleep disorders, and headache.

Before taking this medication you should know the following information:

-People who suffer from fever and chicken pox must not use this medicine as it might cause Reye disease.

-Individuals who have an allergy to aspirin or any other components of Aggrenox must not use this medicine.

-Aggrenox should not be used by people who suffer from asthma and nasal polyps.

-Aggrenox is a medicine that should be used only after the previous medical examination by the medical professional.

Individuals who have such conditions as a history of ulcer or stomach bleeding, coagulation failure,  heart problems,  heart failure, or the recent history of heart attack need the adjustment of the dose of this medication.

Aggrenox can cause negative reactions if used in combination with the following medications: Diamox ,Amethopterin or Trexall, medications for diabetes, Benadryl, Anturane or similar medications, Benazepril hydrochloride, Zestril, Accupril, Eisai, and some others.
